Congratulations to Mrs. Elaine Reales, second-grade teacher at BHT, who received the Bright Ideas Grant!
The name of her project is A Time in History (Erase Una Vez).
Representatives from Surry-Yadkin EMC, a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, surprised Mrs. Reales with balloons and a check for $645.00 on Wednesday, November 16th in her classroom.
Mrs. Reales plans to use the grant money to purchase Chromebooks for her classroom. The students will use the Chromebooks to complete research projects in the spring.
